Team Shubham Launches 10-Day Zero Waste Period Awareness Tour
At the heart of the campaign is the promotion of reusable sanitary pads

In celebration of Earth Day, Team Shubham, under the leadership of Mrs. Pushpa Bajaj, President of Shubham Charitable Association, has officially launched a 10-day Zero Waste Period Awareness Tour from Swer. The initiative aims to take the Mission Zero Waste Period to rural communities across Khatarshnong Laitkroh C&RD Block, promoting menstrual hygiene, sustainable living, and zero-waste practices.
At the heart of the campaign is the promotion of reusable sanitary pads—a solution that not only offers a more sustainable and comfortable alternative to single-use pads, but also provides local employment opportunities to rural women. This movement ensures better health outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and a cleaner environment.
