National Space Day Celebration at Central Library Hall in Nongpoh

Today, the Central Library Hall in Nongpoh, Meghalaya, buzzed with enthusiasm as NESAC organized a Quiz Competition in celebration of National Space Day. The event drew participants from 11 schools across the Ri Bhoi District, including two students from APS Umroi who showcased their knowledge and skills.

The Quiz Competition commenced with an initial round where students competed fiercely. APS Umroi’s participants, Abhik Bora and Sarah Shekatkar, advanced from this stage to compete in the finals against four other schools. Their exemplary performance and in-depth understanding of space science topics earned them the first-place position, marking a significant achievement for APS Umroi and demonstrating their dedication to learning.
