BSF Meghalaya Nabs 07 Bangladeshi Nationals Near International Border

In a well planned operation on 10th August 2024, BSF troops in collaboration with the Meghalaya Police, apprehended seven Bangladeshi nationals alongwith two Indian facilitators in depth area at a checkpoint.

In view of ongoing unrest in Bangladesh, BSF Meghalaya has assessed and heightened security along the Indo-Bangladesh border adopting a multi-tier domination strategy .

All the apprehended illegal BD migrants with Indian facilitators handed over to concerned police station, for further disposal and legal action .
