BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED AT CH BSF SHILLONG

BSF has once again exhibited its dedication in service to the nation beyond the call of duty.

A Blood donation camp was organized by BSF Composite Hospital Shillong under FTR HQ Meghalaya in collaboration with Blood Bank Deptt, NEIGRIHMS on 5th December, 2024 on the occasion of 60th BSF Raising Day.

The event was graced by Shri Paul Lyngdoh, Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Social Welfare and Textiles Meghalaya Government in presence of Shri Harbax Singh Dhillon, IG FTR HQ Megh, Dr Angel Bennet, DIG (Med)/MS, CH BSF Shillong and other senior officers from BSF.

The Chief Guest was extended a warm welcome by Dr Angel Bennet who delivered the welcome speech followed by speech from the Chief Guest Shri Paul Lyngdoh who emphasized the importance of blood donation.
He also discussed how blood donation can bridge the gaps between people from different areas and societies. Shri Harbax Singh Dhillon, IG Meghalaya FTR delivered vote of thanks.

A total of 115 BSF personnel comprising of all ranks including the serving female staff came forward to donate blood voluntarily. BSF has once again exhibited its dedication in service to the nation beyond the call of duty.
