The Governor of Meghalaya, Shri C.H.Vijayashankar, attended the prize distribution ceremony of the 50th Annual Cultural Competition 2024, organized by the Ramakrishna Mission at the Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Shillong

The Governor praised the Ramakrishna Mission for its outstanding work in organizing events that celebrate and nurture talent, noting that these initiatives not only promote cultural upliftment but also contribute to the encouragement of youth participation in cultural and extra-curricular activities . He acknowledged the Mission’s exemplary services in the fields of education and healthcare, both in India and abroad, and highlighted its role in contributing to the nation’s rich cultural tapestry.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate the organizers for successfully hosting this competition for fifty consecutive years, an achievement he described as a testament to their unwavering commitment to cultural and educational development.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners by the Governor , celebrating the exceptional talent displayed by the participants.
